Sango is a very pretty 16 year old youkai exterminator who lived in the youkai village with her younger brother, Kohaku and her father who was the head of the village. Sango has two weapons, a sword and the weapon she uses most, her huge boomerang, Hiraikotsu which is made of the bones of youkai that have been killed. She also has the help of her pet youkai, Kirara who is a flying fire cat-like creature.
